He made his international cricket debut in 2015 and has since played for various teams, including Durham, Nottinghamshire, England Lions, North, Chennai Super Kings, Team Buttler, Team Morgan, Team Root, London Spirit, and Lucknow Super Giants. Wood is currently one of the fastest bowlers in the world, with an average Test pace of 89 mph since 2020. He is married to Sarah Lonsdale and has a son. Wood is one of only 6 players to win both the 2019 ODI and 2022 T20 world cups.
