Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is a cricket team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team is owned by Red Chillies Entertainment and has been involved in every edition of the tournament since 2008. KKR won the IPL for the first time in 2012 and again in 2014. They have reached the final three times, losing to Chennai Super Kings in 2021. The team has had notable players such as Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, and Andre Russell. The home ground of KKR is the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
