Rajasthan Royals is a cricket franchise that debuted in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. They were the winners of the first-ever IPL under the leadership of Shane Warne. However, they struggled in the playoffs stage from 2009 to 2012 and were suspended from the IPL for two years in connection with a betting scandal. They made a comeback in 2018 and reached the playoffs but were eliminated in the group stage in the next three editions.
