They have a win percentage of over 60% in ODIs and have won the 1998 Champions Trophy, their only ICC triumph to date. The team has a number of legendary players, including AB de Villiers, Jacques Kallis, Dale Steyn, and Graeme Smith. The Proteas have never won the World Cup, and their best finish in the tournament is the semi-finals in the 1992 World Cup.
